Real Media Real Change (RMRC) and Esoteric Women’s Health would like to thank all who attended the International Women’s Day lead up events being held interstate during the month of February for the ‘Nurturing the Woman within’ series.

Hundreds of women gathered in SydneyMelbourne  & Brisbane to celebrate and honour women in our communities. Feedback from those who attended suggests that this series is shaping up to be the first of many such events given the enthusiasm with which it was received.

As you are probably aware the event formed part of a series called ‘Nurturing the Woman Within’, initiated by Esoteric Women’s Health and supported by RMRC with an encompassing theme of ‘Media that Connects’, exploring the role media plays in assisting us to cultivate care and real connections with ourselves and others.

Dr Jane Barker discussed the importance of self-care and well-being, drawing on her experience working with women as a practitioner and educator but also as a woman who, it is clear has always cared very deeply for women especially in her capacity as a general practitioner.

Natalie Benhayon presented on ‘what it is to truly nurture you’ – which led to much discussion and great questions from the audience. Also through her simple-to-use and newly released ‘Our Cycles’ App, Natalie offered a practical and simple way in which to utilise modern technology to facilitate a deeper connection and understanding of ourselves and our innate rhythms as women.

The morning tea spreads have been a heavenly feast of goodies prepared by women from the regular Esoteric Women’s Health groups in each state – proving a wonderful way to complete a warm and informative morning exploring nurturing and self-care.

These were a lead-up to the ‘official’ International Women’s Day celebration being held at Lennox Heads on Saturday 9th March where Dr Jane Barker and Natalie Benhayon will again present (view flyer), along with RMRC presenting a short film celebrating Women, exploring the changes in their own lives as they learn to love and honour themselves. This will again be followed by a sumptuous morning tea lovingly prepared by the women attending the regular Lennox Head Women’s Group.

This event is open to men, women and children – all are welcome so feel free to join us (Register here) with your partner, family or friends in celebration of International Women’s Day.

With thanks and appreciation
RMRC and the Esoteric Women’s Health team.
